equipped4wellbeing Training Programme

specifically designed to enable staff to build and maintain resilience and wellbeing

equipped4wellbeing has been developed from work with diverse organisations, in particular those who provide direct support for individuals and communities. It recognises the needs and challenges of our diverse communities, and the need for staff teams to improve their capacity to maintain their resilience and wellbeing for their own benefit and to serve their clients and our communities better.  It is a different sort of training; focused on actively enabling staff to build their own toolkits, for themselves, their colleagues and clients. The practical, improvement focused sessions are underpinned by experience and research.

Purpose:

  • Deepen understanding of the essentials of maintaining physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Improve self-awareness and develop the behaviours and core capabilities essential to successfully maintain wellbeing in professional roles.

  • Improve core capabilities to build and manage relationships which are a key factor in maintaining wellbeing.

  • Develop understanding and skills to better empower and enable clients and colleagues; and have more conversations worth having.

  • Improve capacity to remain positive, be affirming and bring about positive outcomes.

  • Further develop the skills to use a positive, solution focused, creative approach, build continuous improvement and bring about positive outcomes.

  • Build participants’ personal toolkit for managing stress and maintaining wellbeing.
